CATTLE CLASSES 2023
Sunday May 7th, 2023. Entries to be received before April 30th
.Entry fee is €15 for all classes. Entry fees will not be returned in the case of an animal being withdrawn.
Judging commences at 12.30 sharp. 5% to be deducted from prize money in accordance
with I.S.A. rules.
All animals must come from herds which are officially TB free and the herd and
relevant animals must have a clear test within the previous 12 months. The test must
be recorded on the Departments Animal Health System. No pre-movement test is
required for TB. However, it is recommended by the department that there is a 30 day
pre movement test for TB. All Bovines must bear double plastic tags as issued by the
Department’s identification system and must be accompanied by their passports and
movement compliance certs.

Class 2 Friesian Heifer calf born between 01/09/2021 and 31/10/2021

Class 5 Junior Champion & Reserve (Open to classes 1 – 4) Rosettes.
Class 6 Friesian Heifer having had 1 calf and in milk.
Class 7 Friesian Cow having had 2 or more calves and in milk.
Class 8 Senior Champion & Reserve. Rosettes.
Class 9 Supreme Female Champion €50
Class 10 Dairy Young Handlers
